People LOVE their Thread wallets. The founders actually met and fell in love while starting the company, so it’s only natural that we told a love story—a tribute to loving your minimalist life and not all your bulky stuff.

THE FOUNDATION OF THREAD WALLETS IS A LOVE STORY. A LOVE STORY THAT IS TOO GOOD NOT TO BE TOLD. COLBY KNEW SOMETHING NEEDED TO CHANGE IN THE MARKET OF WALLETS; THEY WERE BULKY AND WAY BIGGER THAN NECESSARY. HE KNEW HE NEEDED SOMETHING SIMPLE TO BIND EVERYTHING TOGETHER, BUT A STANDARD ELASTIC WOULDN’T DO. THAT’S WHERE MCKENZIE CAME IN. WITH HER TRUSTY SEWING MACHINE. 

 

THEY HESITATED TO MAKE THE LEAP AND WORK WITH US, WORRIED WE WOULDN’T CAPTURE THEIR VOICE. BUT AFTER SEEING OUR PREVIOUS WORK WITH OTHER BRANDS, THEY KNEW WE WOULD TAKE THE TIME TO UNDERSTAND THEIR BRAND, MAKE THE CAMPAIGN WITH THEIR STORY IN MIND, AND ESTABLISH CREDIBILITY.  WE KNEW THAT THEIR PRODUCTS WOULD MAKE PEOPLE’S LIVES EASIER, BUT WE ALSO KNEW THAT SHARING THEIR WHOLESOME STORY WOULD MAKE PEOPLE FALL IN LOVE WITH THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE SCENES AS WELL.
